Peptide Academy · Research use only
Peptide Academy: peptides, minus the hype

You've seen the word everywhere: podcasts, headlines, your feed. Somebody swears by peptides, somebody else calls them a scam, and almost nobody explains what they actually are.
So we will. Seven short chapters, no jargon wall, no sales pitch. Every fact links to a source you can check. By the end you'll be able to tell chemistry from marketing.
The chapters
- Tiny chains, big deal: what peptides are: amino acids, peptide bonds, and why the order of the building blocks is everything.
- Meet the families: the main types of research peptides: where each family comes from and how strong the published evidence really is.
- Keep it cold, keep it dry: storage and stability: why freeze-dried powder still breaks down, and the lab habits that slow it.
- The receipt that matters: how to read a COA: the 30-second check for a certificate of analysis.
- Lab detectives: HPLC and mass spec explained: the two tests that answer "is it the right molecule?" and "how pure is it?"
- Speak peptide: basic terms: the words you keep hearing, one plain sentence each.
- The Wild West is closing: the state of the market: what regulators have done, and how to spot a serious supplier.
How to use this series
Read it in order, or jump to the chapter you need. Each chapter ends with a Bottom line box, and links back here and to the next chapter.
What we will and won't cover
We will tell you: what a compound is, where it comes from, how purity and identity are measured, how to store sealed material in a lab, and what published research has looked at, with sources.
We won't, ever: explain how to use any compound on a person or animal, give amounts, or promise results. If a seller does, read Chapter 7.
All BioLabs Research compounds are supplied for laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use. This is education, not medical or legal advice.
